| Developed
in China 3000 years BC, Chopsticks are
the main utensils for millions of people
today. They were introduced to Thailand
some 300 years ago when a king of Thailand
married a Chinese princess. Up to that
time (and even today, in parts of the
country), fingers were used. Our chopstick
assortment includes assorted styles
and colours. Hand made from recycled
tropical hardwoods and coconut wood
these chopsticks and rests are truly
works of art, each hand made. Mix and
match with holders and rests to give
your customers the widest selection!
Our popular Chopsticks Sets are available
with a beautiful fabric or saa paper
covered gift box. Each boxed set consists
of several pair of chopsticks, chopstick
rests and/or sauce dishes (for Chili
or Soya sauce), presented in a gift
box covered with silk or handmade saa
paper. Assorted box bottom colors may
include yellow, peach, turquoise, orange,
blue, green. If you've eaten with plastic
chopsticks before, try ours as they
give that complete authentic feeling
to Asian food.
Aside
from the assortment above we also do
a selection Chopstick-Style Hair Pins.
One of the most beautiful and simple
fashion accessories. Thai women (and
men!) are renowned for their beautiful
hair and for centuries they've decorated
their hair with various accessories
to accent its natural beauty. These
hairpins are made of recycled hardwood
- hand polished so there are no burrs.
The hanging decorations at the end of
each pin are attached with skillfully
wound cotton cord. Materials in the
dangles include natural semi-precious
stones, ceramic and glass beads, metallic
and silver beads designs, plus much
more. No two are exactly alike
